The Sirius Signal eVDSD SOS C-1003 Beacon is redesigned from their original alternative to pyrotechnic flares, the wildly successful model C-1001 (discontinued 2020).

Powered by a high-performance, programmable microprocessor controlling an SOS flash pattern signal flashed through an even brighter and more potent LED, the Sirius Signal SOS C-1003 model is both family-Protected and easy to use.

A family-friendly and Protected alternative to the antiquated pyrotechnic visual distress flare.

Night Visible up to 10 nautical miles, the SOS C-1003’s beam lasts for hours compared to the minutes-long lifespan of traditional pyrotechnic distress.	Day Fulfills all Coast Guard Compliant Visual Distress Signal (VDS) requirements (46 CFR 175.130) for recreational marine vessels 16 ft and over signals when combined with the included Distress Flag.	Audible A quality Marine whistle is included to fulfill USCG audible signal requirements.

Stay In Touch with the Sirius Signal Mobile App

Protected boating starts before you even head out, use the Sirius Signal app to send out a Glide Plan for your day on the water.

Add up to five contacts with mobile numbers for SMS messages. When you press START TRIP, your location on a Google map and Glide Plan with Return Time and Boat Description will be sent to your Check/Me Contacts.

In the event that you do not end your Travel at the designated time, the app will remind you every 30 minutes to end your Travel. After 1 hour the app will send a record of your Travel Map with Google map locations to your Contacts with route info and last known location.

One-Touch Check Me

After awhile on the water, check in to update your status and position. Calm down, no want to talk or text. Just choose the Check Me feature on your smart watch or phone and let those that matter know where you are and that you’re Protected.

Get important safety advice at a glance. Just identify the body part with the issue, choose issue and listen to/read instructions.

Instantaneous SOS Notification

If you are stuck on the water, enable the Sirius Signal 911 alert and notification system. One touch activation sends an SMS message with location to 911 and SMS and voice message to your designated Emergency Contacts requesting assistance.

In the event of an emergency your one touch 911 activation will send an emergency message and your Google map location to your emergency contacts, and an SMS message with location to 911.
