About Our Company

In 2016, Kevin & Mark were sitting on the boat at their family cottage in Cape Cod, MA. They were discussing the potential of starting a company together and were brainstorming ideas for the best path to take. Growing up, their families spent most summers on the pond. Boating, swimming and fishing was a part of their upbringing. It’s something they’re both passionate about and it made sense to build a company around their passions. A couple of months later, BEST Marine & Outdoors was born.

No matter your skill level or situation, our bilge pump is there to quickly assist kayakers in removing water from your boat and getting you back to having fun!
HOW DOES IT WORK? – Our boat pump is 17 inches long x 2.5 inches wide and weighs only one pound. Simply connect the hose to either end of the pump, insert the bottom of the pump (or hose) into the water, and use the maintain to start pumping. It is going to take A couple of pumps to prime it, but once it starts to siphon, you’ll be water free very quickly! It sucks water when you push the maintain in, and disperses the water when you pull the maintain out!
